I seperated from the Army in Jan 2001. When I left Germany i was told that my belongings will be shipped to me. They never arrived, so I called my local Army office and they told me that how my shipped household items have been lost. SThe rep then told me that the US Army owes me compensation for the lost goods. Since than I have started over from scratch. The rep on the phone took my info and said the Army will be mailing me a check. I have never recieved the check and am wondering who/where do I have to contact in order to resolve this issue? Thank you very much.

Wow, Chris! Almost an 11 year wait. I thought after being in the Army you'd have a little more patience than that!

I really don't know who you could contact. I'd start with that rep again if I were you. Maybe he could check for you or at least tell you who to contact.

Before I had joined the Army I was in the Navy in the '60s with 14 years between the two branches. When I discharged from the Navy I had received everything except a bag with all my martial arts equipment & a few other odds & ends. I'm still waiting for compensation. Unlike you I have patience, lol. I'm beginning, I say beginning, to think I won't get it.
