I want to join the U.S Air Force ,but I am only 14 at the moment and wanted to maybe get in contact with someone to look at job oppertunities to think about my future in the Air Force. I dont know how to get in contact with them without a recruiter coming to my house. So if anyone knows how i may get in contact with them please let me know as i dont want to waste the time of the recruiter just to ask questions and also if there is a possibility of sighning up now and going to basic when i graduate high school please tell me if that is possible too. Thank You

Try An Air Force Site

I doubt very much if anyone knows much about them here.

If the USAF Recruiters work it the same way as Army Recruiters do they won't even talk to you until you're recruitment age anyhow. They're way to busy to deal with you when the earliest you can enlist is 4 years away. Even if they were willing to talk to you things will probably be altogether different by then.

I suggest that meanwhile use your computer & do some research, bearing in mind that what you learn now might not be applicable when you're 17-18.

RE:Glasses

Glasses are not a bar to enlistment but your corrected vision is the main thing that can keep someone out of the military.

I imagine the USAF has about the same eyesight restrictions that the Army has except they may be even stricter on those limitations. The Air Force needs fewer people than the Army so their standards might be higher. I don't know.
